How to Use a Handle Sewing Machine?

Traditional sewing machines take up a lot of space and usually need a table or an entire desk.If you do not have a lot of space or want to do your sewing along the way, consider using a portable sewing machine. Portable sewing machines are much smaller and do not need a table or pedal. Use this sewing machine for hem curtains, for corrective seams or to create your own dresses.
Instructions
1. Threading the hand sewing machine and inserting the batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Turn off the machine or make sure it is the "lock" for safety. Turn the thumb wheel in any direction to raise the needle.
3. Place the fabric you want to sew under the presser foot or bar. Pull the thread through the needle with your left hand until you have a "tail" of thread a couple of inches long.
4. Hold women dress that is in your left hand and the sewing machine in your right hand. Turn the machine on and unlock it. Guide - Do not pull - the fabric through the machine with the left hand to sew. Stop the machine and lower the needle into the fabric using the swivel wheel to pivot around the corners.
5. Stop the machine at the end of its sewing and lift the needle to its highest position using the rotating wheel. Lift the presser foot or bar. Pull the fabric away from the machine to the left, being careful not to reveal the seam. Cut the thread about 3 inches from the fabric.
6. Loop the 3-inch yarn tail on the last stitch using your fingers or with a threader and tie a knot to prevent the seam from undoing.
Tips & Warnings
a. Adjust the tension wheel on the hand sewing machine if the stitches are too tight or too loose.
