How to Organize and Optimize Your Dressing Room?

The dressing room is everyone’s dream. It is still necessary to know how to organize it to optimize space. We tell you everything about its interior equipment

Today, a dressing room is no longer an inaccessible dream. Between large brands that offer standard storage and custom-made democratization, it is possible to give a showroom look to your bedroom or dressing room. First of all, you should know that no size is pre-required to create a corner store. A simple wall in a room can become a huge closet just like a small cubicle or an entire room. It is, therefore, necessary to choose according to your needs and your possibilities.

Wardrobes have the coast
For several seasons, the trend is in the wardrobe. Indeed, what could be easier than having all your clothes at your fingertips, and without a crease? Just like a shop where clothing is most valued, the wardrobe allows you to see all your clothes at a glance. Dresses, shirts, t-shirts, jackets, all clothes can be put on suitable hangers. Only sweaters, heavier, are to keep flat, so they do not deform under their own weight if we hang them. Now, we no longer hesitate to double your wardrobe bar with retractable bars. These wardrobe risers retractable allow to install a rod in height and to descend it of a simple movement. Why not put your jackets on this high part, to choose the best outfits? At most, the closet of your dressing room is installed at 2 meters height.

Shelves, drawers and hanging shoe rack
Shelves are also useful. Big winter sweaters and pants will find their place, as well as storage boxes in which it is possible to keep accessories or lingerie. Others will prefer drawers, with or without an organizer, for underwear and small pieces, like scarves or ties. Indeed, the tie-holders are becoming rarer, a consequence of the decreasing number of men wearing. The storage for shoes, however, are increasingly demanded. Many solutions (drawers, shoe racks ...), especially sliding, to promote the use and optimize the space are proposed.

Mirror and light
If your dressing room is in a corner of your room, maybe you do not need light inside the closets. A simple lamp or lamp to pose nearby can do the trick. On the other hand, in a closed dressing room, in addition to the ambient light, points of light with a motion detector in the cupboards can be useful (and give the pace!). Ask your seller for advice, but there are many low-cost cabinets and LED bar spots that work on a battery. Regarding the mirror, a closet door, sliding or not, covered with a mirror is largely the case. If you have room, a mirror will enliven the space.

Various tips:
1. put your clothes in your closet in the same way that you wear them on you: the shoes down, the bottom in the middle and the tops and jackets on the wardrobe bar
2. store the clothes you use the least in height, as well as your luggage or travel bags
3. hang one hanger to another, to connect your sets and save space on the wardrobe bar
4. if you keep your shoes in boxes, stick a picture of the pair, so you do not waste time
