WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA FOR CHOOSING AN AIR PURIFIER?
1 - Technology

Filter purifiers: the purification of the air is carried out by means of filters, generally superimposed. It is a mechanical filtration technique, favored for domestic use. The most advanced models using mechanical filtration are usually provided with at least three superimposed filters:
A pre-filter, which captures the largest particles (animal hair, hair, insects).
An activated carbon filter that will destroy odors and captures volatile organic compounds.
A HEPA filter is added to Xiaomi air purifier which ensures the elimination of 99% of molecules having a size greater than 0.3 μg.
On extraction with a dust filter
On fresh air, with a pollen filter, a fine particulate filter, and a bacteria filter.
3 - Automatic detection of pollution
An automatic adjustment according to the air quality is more important to enjoy a healthy air with confidence. Choosing an air purifier that has one or more sensors (particle, gas) can detect the level of pollution and adjust the filtration rate depending on the level of pollution in the home.
4 - Air treatment
The speed of a purifier to remove particles present in the room depends on two measures:
The air flow, which ensures an optimal treatment of the volume of air contained in the room. It must be as high as possible to ensure optimal circulation and purification of the air.
