Grow Onions in Your Garden

1. Select the location for planting onions, and the place should have good soil and sunlight. If your soil is acidic, before planting her need to be limed. Do not plant onions in the place where you previously grew Liliaceae (garlic or onions). The best choice of place you plant would be the place in which a large number were made organic fertilizer (tomatoes, early potatoes, cucumbers, zucchini).

2. Dig a ridge. Disinfect the surface with a solution of copper sulphate (1 tablespoon per 10 liters of water). Spill the prepared solution the earth at the rate of 2 liters per 1 sq. m. Make a bed of furrows 5 cm deep at a distance of 15 cm from each other.

3. Prepare onion seeds. Get your desired grade. Plant the onion bulbs in early October. Place them in the grooves at a distance of 3-4 cm from each other.

4. In the spring do not allow the stagnation of water at planting onions with plant spray bottle. Gently rake the bedding-mulch. As soon as a lot of seedlings, thin out them, leaving a distance of between 5-6 cm bulblets

5. During the first half of the summer, you should well-watered onions. Spend 6-10 liters of water per 1 sq. m. water carefully.
